1200lm Solar Shed Batten
The S-Tech 1200lm Solar Shed Batten (SSBL-12W) is a compact, solar-powered LED batten designed to provide reliable illumination for sheds, workshops, garages, and outdoor areas without operational costs. Delivering 1200 lumens (equivalent to 21W fluorescent), it is ideal for off-grid applications during both day and night.
This solar shed light features a built-in PIR motion sensor, allowing it to operate as a motion-activated light. It is supplied with a remote control and a 3m cabled wall switch, giving flexible control options. Day mode allows manual operation at any time, while night mode automatically turns the light on at dusk and off after a set period.
The 360mm batten is supplied with a 5m solar panel connection cable, with a simple plug-and-play installation. The SSBL-12W also includes a USB charging port for 5V devices during the day. Built for durability, it has an IP65-rated housing and IK06 impact protection, weighing 2kg with a light size of 65 × 80 × 360 mm and a solar panel size of 350 × 170 × 17 mm (excluding bracket).

This product is designed for residential use and not in commercial or industrial applications where they can be accessed by the general public. This is due to the cables and wall switch are simply plugged into the light and are not secure from being tampered with.
If you are after a full commercial solution where the light automatically turns on at night (no daytime operation), then we recommend the SWP-2FT-18CM Solar Batten Light for this application due to the robust design.
Please note that we do not recommend integrated solar lighting for critical lighting areas where you require lighting during the whole night (eg Security). Solar lighting is subject to receiving quality sunlight to be able to charge the internal batteries to be able to last all night, where in winter or very overcast days this may not be possible and the light can not last all night. For best results the solar panel should be facing north and be free from any shadowing from trees or buildings during the day.
